Another thing from yesterday...

Mom wanted me to add to yesterday's entry that Grams went 15 minutes without the ventilator yesterday, which is a huge improvement. The medical staff seems ready to give it the ol' heave ho with getting her well and out of the hospital--they are going to a rigorous schedule with the breathing tests (3 times a day) and are planning on taking her outside soon (perhaps today). Mom said they were praying for accelerated healing, and here it is!
